I'm interested in getting a British classic motorcycle. Should i go down the restoration road or do I just look something already restored?

It Depends on how mechanically minded you are?

If your haven't restored an old motorcycle before it will definetly be a challenge. i would pick something that is all there and straight forward for your first one. What motorcycles were you considering?

Unless your really sure, don't start something that you aren't capable of finishing either by yourself or by outside support.

Restorations take time, money and patience, but the feeling of satisfaction is second to none. Another suggestion is just simply go and buying an already restored bike, or even something that needs just a tidy up, especially if this is your first project.

I find Restoring a bike is the best part, it is very satisfying to complete a restoration and you get to know have everything in your motorcycle works.
